Wheres my man Tony Montana? I need your help. I've seen M'baye fight Vivian Harris on the undercard of Mayorga vs Forrest II at the Orleans and was impressed with him. The scores for that fight were BS and it was a really close fight. I've been waiting to make a play on M'baye but I dont know anything about this Koelnik guy except that he's undefeated and fighting out of Germany. This is the WBA eliminator at 140 and its tomorrow. So talk to me Tony if youre still around. Whats this Kotelnik guy all about?

they`re fighting in france...m`baye`s home base........neither`s a big puncher...hard to say...

i took a whack at arnaoutis/feliciano over 11.5 at -130...small.....you could protect yourself and hedge feliciano at around+235......i doubt that arnaoutis stops feliciano..unless there`s a butt or a cut.....arnaoutis can`t punch...but he can box..tall ..lefty...thought he beat hot, supposedly heavy handed punching prospect juan urango on shobox but only got a draw....he seems to handle these straight ahead,un-polished guys pretty well...

might parlay m`baye with warrick...but i doubt it.....

M'baye

Jesus christ he lives! What the hell is with the muteness on Mcline vs Byrd? I wanna hear what you think of the matchup. If Im gonna lay my bet I gotta strike while the coals hot. And what do you think of the whole Butler thing?
So you dont know anything about this guy M'baye is fighting either huh?

I forgot to mention the France thing. That outta be another plus for Mbaye. I'm also thinking of parlaying it with the Urkal vs Harris over which is at like -300.
But after watching their first fight I just dont see either guy knocking the other guy out. I still cant believe friggin Showtime cant televise this fight. Unreal.

You dont have an email address for Tony do you? If so you should shoot him an email and get the 411 on this German fighter. Tonys solid when it comes to breaking these guys down.

i have no idea what happened to tony....a big loss for us,imo....i hope the guy is o.k......good capper....nice guy......he is sorely missed...

as for mccline....he`s in his element here.....by that,i mean he`s fighting a little guy....

after seeing him soil himself vs klitschko,i have little faith in the guy`s heart......

but, that shouldn`t be tested vs byrd....byrd has seemed to regress over his last few fights....

and i don`t exactly know why, but,i want to take urkal vs harris.....had vivian in the first one....i`ve never heard of a title holder that has so little "juice",that he has to go back and fight a challenger again....a guy he beat less than 6 months ago on the challenger`s home turf....basically a "do-over"...
on the guy`s home turf AGAIN,to boot?

it looks like kohl is going to keep doing this until urkal gets it right...waiting to see how high this thing goes....

Harris vs Urkal

Its all about gate money and Harris just isnt a draw anywhere. I was planning on betting Urkal in the rematch also. I saw the first fight and I didnt think Harris won. As the fight wore on I saw Urkal becoming more accostomed to Harri's reach and getting more comfortable fighting him. So I said to myself that if theres a rematch I'm taking Urkal. Also because he'd probably get the benefit of the doubt this time. But then Manny Steward enters the picture. This was the hardest fight I've ever tried to score in my life. Now add Manny as an X factor I just cant make a play on Urkal. He could still very well win but I just think that now we're going to see an even better Vivian Harris. So I'll layoff this one.

I wish my guy Tony was here to tell us about this German. After seeing Sturm pop up out of nowhere I'm wondering if the Krauts have some other stallions in their stable.

Mbaye won a SD :aktion033 Like Almly I also saw Mbaye-harris and was impressed with Mbaye. I thought that fight was much closer than the cards suggested.

Great, I finally pick a winner for once in my life and I'm too stupid to get the bet in on time.

well,a friend i trust just saw the first harris/urkal fight at maxboxing and thought that harris won easily....

"MaxBoxing is showing the first Harris-Urkal fight. It's hard to feel too strongly about watching something in a 3-inch window with bad sound, but from what I saw, Harris won the bout quite comfortably (116-110). It was competitive, but the basic pattern was Urkal bouncing all over the place out of range and then getting speared with the jab every time he would try to cross the moat. Occasionally he would make it inside, at which point both fighters would flail away without landing much cleanly. Neither fighter showed much power and neither fighter was ever hurt (aside from Urkal's acting jobs on the 3 occasions he was hit on the beltline). I'm surprised that Urkal had the stamina to expend energy so inefficiently for all 12 rounds, but I think some people might have confused this with him outworking Harris, who was very relaxed. For the rematch, I see more of the same. Harris' height and straighter punches give him an edge in every round and Urkal doesn't have the power to make up for it."

so,not seeing the first bout myself, and on the heels of forcing my little 1/4 unit parlay to win 1/2 unit on m`baye and stiff michael warrick,i`m not fooling with harris/urkal..that`s what i get for craving action...without solid info to back it up......don`t want to start the frickin` thing rolling in the wrong direction....to many good bouts coming up in november...

i should never have bet(little bets)the ufc...i just haven`t seen and read enough to make intelligent decisions on it.....

have to show some discretion...

Harris vs Urkal

Well I strongly disagree with your friend. Calling it 116-110 for Harris is just ridiculous. I do agree with "Occasionally he would make it inside, at which point both fighters would flail away without landing much cleanly. Neither fighter showed much power and neither fighter was ever hurt".

But Urkal was landing some combos when he would lunge in and Harris's jab became more ineffective as the rounds wore on.

Anyway, this is a pretty close fight to call. The only thing I'd feel good about is the over and the price on that (-315) is way too high.

I'm already looking at this fight on Dec 4th though.
